- Make sure that Power Center repository is on the same machine as the Repository Service process.
- Be careful with the order in which parameter is entered in Informatica, for high repository performances enter parameters in the order in which you want it to run.
- Enable 'Optimize Database Schema' option for the Repository Service in the Administration Console.This will store varying length character data in Varchar(2000).This improves the repository performance.
